A Victorian silver mustard pot of cylindrical form to a skirted base, the hinged lid with shell thumb-rest and engraved with a family crest and motto 'Summum Libertas Bonum', with frosted glass liner and plated mustard spoon. Hallmarked F B Thomas & Co (Francis Boone Thomas), London 1876. Height including thumb-rest measures 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm), weight 5.05 ozt (157 grams).

Purchasing information-
The mustard pot appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear and tarnishing. Also some general surface marks and scratches. Hinged lid appears in good working order, although the hinges do feel a little loose and may require tightening. Likely replacement glass liner. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also with further mark for Thomas, 153 New Bond Street.
