A George II silver waiter & modern silver wine funnel.

Condition Report

A George II silver waiter, the circular form with floral and diaper engraved border, central crest, raised shaped rim and standing on three hoof feet, hallmarked William Peaston, London 1752, diameter measuring 6 inches (15.5 cm). Together with a modern silver wine funnel of traditional form, hallmarked London 1979, height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm). Gross weight 7.7 ozt (241 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    The lot appears in quite poor condition, all displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The salver with worn crest , silver also easy to flex at the centre, solder repairs to rim and with significant loss of definition. The wine funnel is quite dented, particularly around the main rim and the spout. Hallmarks generally clear and legible.
