Two late Victorian silver twin-handled sugar bowls.

Description

Condition Report

A late Victorian silver twin-handled sugar bowl, of bulbous form having scrolled and flower-head decoration below a part reeded and lobed rim, the whole raised upon a short circular foot, hallmarked H Bros, Birmingham 1887, height measures 3 inches (7.5 cm). Together with another twin-handled silver sugar bowl of part fluted form, James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, London 1896, 2 1/8 inches (5.5 cm). Weight 5.77 ozt (179.6 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot appears in overall fair condition. The earlier example with minor rubbing and areas of tarnishing. The second with general light tarnishing with minor distortion to rim near handle. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
