Condition Report

A Victorian silver presentation trowel, personally engraved and dated to the centre within a stippled and leaf border and having a wrythen moulded ivory handle. Hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham, 1877. Length measuring 10 1/4 inches (26 cm). 'Kate Wright Beaucastle 22-4-1878.'

Purchasing information
    The trowel appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Some tarnishing to the silver parts and minor edge nicks, also the pointed tip is very slightly turned upwards. A few minor chips to the ivory. The monarch's head is very worn but otherwise the hallmarks are clear and legible. This item may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
