Purchasing information
The teapot appears in fairly good overall condition displaying some general wear, tarnishing, surface scratches and marks. Some rubbing and slight loss of surface detail to areas of the decoration but generally still good. There are some small holes around the bottom and to the side of the vacant cartouche indicating repairs or possibly an engraving removal? A further possible repair around the base of the spout and there is a small split in the metal further along the spout. The hinged lid appears in working order and sits well, maybe a little loose. The hallmarks are located to the base and are clear and legible.
