Condition Report

A late Victorian silver mounted pepper grinder, the hobnail cut glass body raised on a silver foot and having a silver neck and grinding handle with ivory terminal. Hallmarked Mappin Brothers, Sheffield 1897. Maximum height measures 4 inches (10.2 cm).

Purchasing information
    In fairly good overall condition, some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Grinding mechanism feels a little loose and may require some tightening. Small chips and nibbles to glass. Hallmarks are clear and legible, also hallmarked to various parts.
