Condition Report

A late 19th century silver and gold, gem-set and enamel bracelet. Designed as five old-cut diamond diagonal panels, between similarly-cut diamond bar-links, with square and cushion shape ruby and emerald highlights, and further enamel bar-links to the push-piece clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 2.15cts. Length 19.2cms. Weight 15.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some settings worn and may require attention.

  • Enamel in mostly good condition, some areas show small nibbles and abrasion.

  • Rubies fairly bright dark purplish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Emerald medium to fairly dark yellowish-green, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Most diamonds show fairly obvious light and dark coloured inclusions that can be seen easily under magnification, some of which can be seen with the naked eye.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
