Condition Report

A pair of dyed chalcedony, topaz and diamond earrings. Each designed as an oval dyed blue chalcedony cabochon, with oval blue topaz surround with brilliant-cut diamond collet highlights. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Length 1.8cms. Weight 8.5gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Dyed chalcedony with a slightly whitish cloudy blue, well saturated, with good clarity and no obvious inclusions.

  • Blue topaz fairly bright medium blue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Diamonds with fairly noticeable yellow tints.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
