Condition Report

A late 19th century locket and a pair of ear pendants. To include a pair of late Victorian gilt metal earrings each designed as a textured bell with drop, suspended from a hand surmount, together with a black enamel locket with rose-cut diamond cross and enamel pansy, AF. Length of ear pendants 5.5cms. Length of locket 3.1cms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Locket is significantly damaged at the hinge, split in two with associated dents.
  • The cross is slightly loose and has scuffed the enamel.
  • Enamel has general surface scratches.
  • Wear to the surmount loop.
  • Estimated total diamond weight less than 0.10ct.
  • Hook fittings with dents.
  • Discolouration to the gilt finish.
  • Length stated includes hook fitting, length from top of hand to end of drop 3.7cms.
