Condition Report

A mid Victorian seed pearl bracelet with gold mourning clasp. Comprising four seed pearl strands, to the oval-shape woven hair glazed panel clasp. Length 19cms. Weight 7.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some small dents and discolouration to the clasp tongue.
  • Significant abrasion to the glass of the clasp.
  • Clasp engraved MB to the reverse.
  • Seed pearl strands have been recently re-strung.
  • Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Seed pearls are fairly well matched, slight shape differences, moderate variation in hue and lustre.
  • Length of clasp 1.7cms.
