A diamond and sapphire dress ring. Of openwork design, the old-cut diamond collet, with similarly-cut diamond trefoil sides and alternating circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond rectangular surround. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.65ct, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Ring size T 1/2. Weight 3.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Band shows evidence of resize.
- Areas of localised scratching and discolouration to the inside of the ring band.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Principal diamond with chip to star facets, most surrounding diamonds with chips and/or surface scratches.
- Some diamonds possible replacements, some do not fit settings well.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Sapphires medium to dark blue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Sapphires not well matched, one edge darker than the other edge.
- Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Sapphire facet edges heavily abraded.
