Condition Report

A diamond and sapphire three-stone ring. The oval-shape diamond, with circular-shape sapphire shoulders. Estimated diamond weight 0.60ct, I-J colour, SI clarity. Ring size J1/2. Weight 2.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Significant yellowing visible to the band in areas.
  • Evidence of sizing to band.
  • Approximate dimensions of diamond 7.15 by 4.75 by 2.85 mms.
  • Small fracture visible to the girdle of the diamond with magnification.
  • Sapphires medium blue, moderate saturation of colour, with fair clarity and typical inclusions some visible with the unaided eye.

  • Stones in fair/poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Significant chip visible to one of the stones.

  • Stamped 14k.
