A sapphire and diamond cluster ring.

Description

Condition Report

A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape sapphire, with brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the grooved band. Approximate sapphire dimensions: 13.2 by 9.5 by 4.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 2.50cts, I-K colour, SI clarity. Approximate ring size I. Weight 7.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of resize.
  • Band currently with two sizing aid beads, currently approximately an I/J but could be made bigger if sizing aids removed.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Some small inclusions visible with magnification.
  • Sapphire in good condition with light scratches to the surface and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. The girdle has some minor chips, difficult to see without magnification.
