Condition Report

A late Victorian split pearl and enamel memorial brooch. The oval-shape brooch with gold-tone foliate detail to the surround, an overlaid floral design set with split pearls to the flower and leaves, to the reverse glazed panel with woven hair. Length 2.8cms. Weight 8.3gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is good to fair, with signs of wear to the enamel and metal in keeping with age and wear. The glass to the reverse is chipped and has small nibbles to the bevelled edge. Dust has accumulated beneath the glass and over the hair. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
