Condition Report

A late 19th century gold diamond mourning brooch. Designed as an elongated shape brooch with palm leaf shape terminals, a bead and wirework border, with three diamonds to the centre and a glazed woven hair panel to the reverse. Hallmark for Birmingham, 1893. Length 4.7cms. Weight 5.7gms.

    The condition of this lot is good to fair, with tarnish and surface scratches to the gold in keeping with age and wear. The glass to the reverse is cracked with a small piece deficient.
