Condition Report

A late Georgian gold garnet and split pearl cluster ring, circa 1820. The oval-shape foil-back garnet, within a split pearl surround. Band split to back. Ring size P. Weight 3.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band split to the back.
  • Dark discolouration to the setting and band in areas.
  • The split pearls vary in shade, some are more cream and others more grey.
  • Damage to the nacre of some split pearls.
  • Small chip visible to the girdle of the garnet.
