A late Victorian diamond and ruby three-stone band ring. The star-set old-cut diamond and cushion-shape ruby sides, all inset to the tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1888. Ring size N. Weight 2.9gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- One ruby pavillion protrudes below line of ring, slightly loose within the mount.
- Band resized, slight pitting, discolouration, hallmarks partially obscured.
- Size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Varied inclusions.
- Rubies are a well matched light medium slightly pinkish red hue, fairly well saturated, with fair to good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Width 0.6cm.
