Condition Report

A late Victorian silver christening mug, decorated with foliage and flower-heads framing a vacant cartouche, with double c-scroll handle and raised upon a stepped foot. Hallmarked Carrington & Co., London 1897 and further marked Carrington & Co., 130 Regent St London beneath. Height measures 3 5/8 inches (9.25 cm), weight 4.06 ozt (126.4 grams).

    The cup is in overall good condition with few small areas of tarnishing and rubbing causing slight loss of definition to decoration. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
