A Victorian silver christening mug.

Condition Report

A Victorian silver christening mug, the slightly tapering form having beaded rims enclosing engraved floral garlands and butterflies, with a central foliate wreath containing a stippled name engraving and dated 1875, further bead decoration to the scroll handle. Hallmarked Thomas White, London 1874. Maximum height to handle measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 5 ozt (156 grams).

Purchasing information
    The mug appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying expected general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches. Slight impressions visible to the interior from the joins of the handle to the main body. Some slight rubbing but the hallmarks and maker's marks are still clearly legible.
