An early 20th century American 14ct gold enamel Egyptian Revival brooch. Designed as a blue enamel scarab, with vari-hue enamel winged sides. Maker's marks for Carter, Howe & Co (Carter, Gough & Co.). Length 4.1cms. Weight 3.6gms.
