A late Victorian gold split pearl horseshoe brooch, circa 1880. The split pearl horseshoe, within a ridged surround. Length 2cms. Weight 5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Brooch was originally part of another piece of jewellery.
- Replacement metal brooch fittings and pin/added jump ring for metal safety chain. Visible soft solder.
- Split pearls fairly well matched, they have a cream to light yellow body colour, displaying pinks and greens.
- Damage to the nacre of a couple of split pearls.
