Condition Report

An early 20th century platinum synthetic sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape synthetic sapphire, with brilliant-cut diamond sides. Estimated total diamond weight 1.45cts, I-J colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Ring size O. Weight 5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of resize.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Synthetic sapphire dark blue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Synthetic sapphire with abrasion to facet edges.
