Description

Condition Report

A Burmese ruby and diamond dress ring. The oval-shape ruby graduated line, with old-cut diamond double spacers and scrolling gallery. Accompanied by report number 5776-6746, dated 31st August 2016, from Gemmological Certification Services, stating the rubies are of Burmese origin with no indications of heating. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Ring size N. Weight 6.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Band is worn and thinned to the reverse.

  • Rubies fairly bright medium slightly pinkish-red hue, well saturated, with light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges.

  • Centre ruby has some fairly noticeable surface reaching inclusions which very slightly interrupt the surface polish.

  • Diamonds fairly well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Diamond show some small light coloured inclusions.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in mostly good condition with minor abrasions.
