An early 20th century 15ct gold gem-set heart bracelet.

Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold gem-set bracelet. The twin heart-shape yellow agate cabochons, with split pearl overlapping surrounds and knot surmount, to the curb-link chain sides. Maker's marks for Alabaster & Wilson. Length 17.3cms. Weight 8.8gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Slight wear to the gilt finish.
  • Some probable replacement gems.
  • Split pearls fairly well matched with a slightly yellowy cream body colour, fair lustre.
  • One obvious replacement, possible imitation, glue surrounding split pearl and surround.
  • Heart-shape agate are a well matched very slightly greenish yellow hue.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Length of hearts panel 2cms.
  • Stamped 15ct to clasp.
