A late 19th century gold and turquoise memorial clasp. Of heart-shape with foliate detail to the outer edge, the later added oval-shape carved turquoise cabochon to the centre and the replacement clasp in the form of a snake coiled into a figure of eight, the reverse with a hinged vacant glazed panel. Length 4.3cms. Weight 11.3gms.

The condition of this lot is good to fair. The gold and glass surface scratches in keeping with use, the gold is slightly discoloured in area.
The front of the piece would have originally been enamelled, but is now completely without any. The turquoise is carved a stwo linked hands. The clasp mechanism is a bit stiff.
