A late Victorian 15ct gold topaz and split pearl brooch. The pink topaz and split pearl star, to the rope-twist surround, with scalloped sides. Victorian registration kite mark to reverse. Length 4.5cms. Weight 13.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear, some small very shallow dents in places.
- Base metal replacement pin.
- Pink topaz light to medium pink, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Pink topaz in poor condition with a large chip to the top.
- Split pearls fairly well matched.
- Split pearls white to slightly creamy-white, with pink and green overtones showing good to fair lustre.
- Yellowing adhesive can be seen to most split pearls.
