Condition Report

Three mid to late Victorian memorial brooches and a push-piece clasp. The first of marquise shape with a centrally set seed pearl, with a circular beadwork surround and cannetille scrolls, the second of rectangular shape with a black enamel and split pearl border to the vacant glazed centre panel, together with a further brooch and a clasp. Lengths 1.5 to 4cms. Weight 18gms.

Purchasing information
    The overall condition of this lot is fair, with tarnish, dints and scratches to the metal in keeping with general wear. The first brooch has an enamel inscription to the back reading 'In memory of Mrs Hearn'. The second has a an engraved inscription reading 'Harriet Vyse Armitstead, died 17 July 1836 aged 25 years'. The third brooch engraved 'Sept 27th 1907'. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
