A George III memorial ring. Designed as a marquise shape with glazed sepia image of an urn beneath a weeping willow, to the front and to the reverse an engraved personal inscription. Ring size S. Weight 5.6gms. With fitted case.

Purchasing information-
The condition of this lot is fair. The sepia picture has visible signs of age and fading. The metal is worn in line with age. There is a file mark to reverse of the ring over the inscription, which may be a result of metal testing. The inscription to the reverse reads 'Richard Watson Ob 20 Oct 1783, at 30'. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
