A memorial brooch.

Condition Report

A memorial brooch. The oval-shape brooch with navette shaped glass panel to the centre, the early Victorian sepia scene depicting a weeping willow and the words 'In Memory of a Mother', to the black enamel surround and foliate border. Length 2.9cms. Weight 10.5gms.

    The condition of this lot is fair to poor, with some adaptation to the original design. The back is later added and the enamel surround which would originally have been set with gems and has been filled with black enamel. The enamel is chipped in places.
