Condition Report

An early 19th century 18ct gold split pearl and enamel memorial ring. The rectangular glazed hair panel to the centre surrounded by split pearls to the black enamel band with gold lettering reading 'In memory of'. Hallmark for Glasgow, possible 1830 (rubbed). Ring size O. Weight 4.1gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is fair to poor, with wear to the metal, enamel and split pearls in keeping with age and wear. The split pearls have lost some of their surface lustre. There is some loss to the enamel where it has been chipped. The inner band is worn with the hallmark partially worn away. Glass is significantly scratched and scuffed to the surface. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
