Condition Report

A late Victorian Regard memorial brooch. The knotted bow design with forked terminals, setting rectangular ruby, emerald, garnet, amethyst, and diamond, the bow with swag detail and a further chain drop, to the vacant glazed panel at the reverse. Length 6.5cms. Weight 8.3gms.

    The condition of this lot is good, with only light wear evident to the metal in keeping with age. The diamond has small chips to the table facet which are visible without magnification. Rubies are pink, with relatively good clarity. Diamond, amethyst have visible inclusions. Emerald relatively clean.
