Condition Report

An early 20th century gold moonstone brooch. Depicting a bearded gentleman, with moonstone cabochon accent turban. Length 3.1cms. Weight 7.2gms.

Purchasing information

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.


  • Moonstone is replacement, with wear visible to the mount.

  • Moonstone is in a closed back setting, possiby foil back, appears a transluscent gem with slightly bluish white adularescence.

  • Hook fitting to reverse.
