Condition Report

An early 20th century diamond single-stone ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, with single-cut diamond spiral sides. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.65ct, J-K colour, P1-P2 clarity. Ring size N. Weight 2gms.

Purchasing information

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Principal diamond slightly loose in its setting.

  • Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct.

  • Diamond vary in appearance.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Principal diamond has a fairly noticeable yellow tint.

  • Principal diamond show fairly obvious light coloured inclusions which can be seen with the naked-eye, some of which are surface reaching and may possibly result in future durability issues.

  • Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment of these diamonds.

  • Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped Plat 18ct.
