Condition Report

Three split pearl brooches. To include a split pearl and turquoise heart brooch with swallow, a split pearl '1894' brooch, together with a split pearl harp brooch. AF. Length 2.8 to 3.8cms. Total weight 10.7gms.

Purchasing information

  • Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.



  • Small file marks and acid discolouration.

  • Swallow brooch is missing a component. The swallow is deficient a wing tip.

  • Turquoise moderately well matched, some discolouration.

  • Harp brooch is missing the strings, some discolouration and soft solder, some deeper scratches.


  • Split pearls fairly well matched, some discolouration, some wear and differences to the lustre. Some glue visible.
