Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's Premier chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Numbered 696645 789. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine, outer tachymeter scale. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 32mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. Chronograph function appears at fault, minute counter does not appear to function, will need a service.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Movement appears darkened due to age.
  • Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Dial is heavily darkened and discoloured, luminous markers have degraded.
  • Hands show holes, luminous inserts are missing. Chronograph hand is missing.
  • Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches with some cracks to the surface.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. Surface is discoloured.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
