Three early 19th century brooches. The first a memorial brooch of rectangular outline, the black border with gold-tone lettering reading 'In Memory Of', to the inner border of split pearls and central garnet cabochon, a personal inscription to the reverse, together with an onyx brooch of rectangular outline, with a glazed, woven hair panel to the reverse. Lengths 1.8 to 2.5cms. Weight 11.6gms.

Purchasing informationThe condition of this lot is fair, with tarnish, scratches and dints to the metal and glass in keeping with age and wear. Some loss to the enamel to the first brooch. The same brooch has an inscription to the reverse, reading 'Ann Lintott, Ob 6 July 1836 at 83'.
