Condition Report

A mid 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond triple cluster ring. Comprising three slightly graduated circular-shape sapphires, with vari-cut diamond shared surrounds and foliate shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.95ct. Ring size Q1/2. Weight 4.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band slightly out of round.
  • Some claws re-tipped. Some claws worn, may require attention.
  • Diamonds mostly old-cuts, some replacement single-cut diamonds.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Varied inclusions, some surface reaching.
  • Sapphires are a dark blue through dark slightly greenish blue, typical inclusions, colour zoning visible under strong light.
  • Sapphires with significant abrasion.
  • Stamped 18ct.
