A cultured pearl seven-row necklace, with diamond and tourmaline clasp.

Condition Report

A cultured pearl necklace. Comprising seven cultured pearl graduated strands, gathered to bar spacers, with vari-cut pink tourmaline and diamond kite-shape clasp. Clasp detachable. Estimated total diamond weight 3.60cts. Length 35cms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Old-cut diamonds bright and well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Few, small, scattered inclusions to some of the diamonds.
  • Principal tourmaline is a medium pink hue, even saturation, slight windowing, typical inclusions, some eye visible, some surface reaching. Minor abrasion.
  • Estimated dimensions of principal tourmaline 9.5mms by 6.9mms.
  • Non-principal tourmalines well matched light pink hue. Non-principal diamonds with moderate abrasions, five with significant chips.
  • Length of clasp 3.4cms.
  • Clasp detaches, no further fittings for the clasp.
  • Cultured pearls are approximately 5.5mms diameter each, welol matched cream hue with slight overtones and varied surface and lustre.
