A George III silver chamberstick, the circular base with beaded border, patched vacant cartouche, central urn shaped socket and detachable snuffer. Hallmarked London 1780, maker's mark S?. Maximum base diameter measuring excluding handle 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 6.8 ozt (213 grams).
