A selection of six George III and later silver sugar sifters of varying styles. Hallmarked London 1799, 1802, 1826, 1827, Birmingham 1978, Sheffield 1904 to include the maker Peter, Ann & William Bateman. Gross weight 7.9 ozt (247 grams). (6).

    Varied state. Displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. King's pattern example may well be a sauce ladle converted with drilled holes. Only one example the Bateman ladle has an initialled terminal.
