An Edwardian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. Designed as a series of graduated circular-shape sapphires, with old-cut diamond intervals and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks for Chester, 1904. Ring size J. Weight 3.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Some of the claws are worn, may need attention.
- Band shows evidence of resize.
- One of the diamonds is an old-cut diamond and the other is a single-cut diamond, one diamond appears to be a replacement.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Chip visible to the single-cut diamond with magnification.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Sapphires medium blue, fairly well saturated, with fairly good clarity and typical inclusions visible with magnification.
- Stones in fair condition with abrasion and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges visible with the unaided eye.
