Condition Report

An Arts & Crafts 9ct gold opal bracelet. Designed as a series of oval opal cabochon geometric links, with padlock clasp and replacement metal safety chain. Length 19cms. Total weight 14.6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Dents visible to some of the links.
  • Replacement long metal safety chain.
  • Indentations visible to some of the collets
  • Opals are fairly well matched, they have a white body colour, displaying blues, pinks, greens and oranges.
  • Surface abrasion visible to the opals with the unaided eye.
  • Personal inscription to padlock clasp reads 'W & N Sept 26th 1906'.
  • Some of the screw detail to the padlock is quite significantly worn.
  • Padlock stamped 9ct.
