An Edwardian 9ct gold opal, ruby and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape ruby and oval opal cabochon pansy, with circular opal cabochon and split pearl ivy wreath surround. May be worn as a pendant. Diameter 2.5cms. Weight 3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition mostly good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Brooch fittings replacements, clasp with Austrian marks.
- Ruby pinkish-red, fairly well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Opals well matched with good play-of-colour showing predominately red hues.
- Split pearls discoloured silvery grey, some have a creamy tone, with muted lustre.
- Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Stamped 9ct.
