Condition Report

A mid Victorian 18ct gold snake ring. The snake head, with diamond point bi-colour eyes and coiled band. One diamond deficient. Hallmarks for London, 1873. Ring size U. Weight 16.4gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band has been resized with slight pitting and lines.
  • One of the diamonds to the eye is deficient.
  • Diamond mounts show wear.
  • Diamond weight below 0.01ct. Diamond too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
  • Width 1.6cms.
