A late Victorian gold synthetic ruby and diamond double heart brooch, circa 1890. The interlinked circular-shape synthetic ruby and old-cut diamond hearts, with plain bar and circular-shape synthetic ruby terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 3.2cms. Weight 3.6gms,

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Some claw settings are heavily worn and damaged, from replacing stones.

- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Chips and surface reaching inclusions visible to some diamonds.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Gas bubbles visible to some of the synthetic rubies with magnification.
- Some surface abrasion visible to the synthetic rubies with magnification.
