Condition Report

EBEL - a lady's Sportwave bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with gold plated bezel. Reference 6087621, serial 92946098. Signed quartz calibre 87 with quick date set. Cream dial with Roman numeral hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel bracelet with double folding clasp. 28mm. Box and papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is not currently functioning. When the case back is off and the battery is pressed into place the movement functions. However when the case back is replaced the battery is obviously not secure it its setting as the movement does not function this way. This will require attention to ensure that the battery is held in place securely to enable the movement to function.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown has light scratches and marking.
  • Bracelet has scratches and some signs of stretching to links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Clasp is functioning but it does appear to be secure. Clasp may require attention.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 14cm including case.

    This lot comes with a box showing moderate wear, containing three spare links, and papers dated 13.12.96.
