Condition Report
A mid Victorian gold enamel and pearl snake memorial brooch. The blue enamel snake coiled into a figure-of-eight, with split pearls set to its back and circular turquoise cabochons to its eyes, with a further blue enamel drop setting a cultured pearl and to the reverse a small glazed vacant panel. Has been re-enamelled. Length 3.9cms. Weight 10.5gms.

Purchasing information-
The condition of this lot is fair. The enamel has chipped and has some loss to the back of the snake, next to the split pearls. There is also a significant chip to the outer edge. There is some denting to the reverse and a chip to the glass at the back. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
