A late Victorian gold enamel and gem-set locket. The vari-shape opal and ruby star-shape cluster, with blue enamel surround, foliate engraved border and reverse and tapered surmount. Length 6.5cms. Weight 19.7gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Opals have white body colour with green, red and blue flashes of colour.
- Central Opal has a large chip
- Red-gems have a medium purple colour, some with surface reaching inclusions
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Hinge fitting is in good working order.
- Stamped 750.
