Condition Report

A late nineteenth century American mixed metals calling card tray, the square silver body with engraved country scene and applied copper pheasant and foliage to the foreground and two birds in flight. Maker's mark for Gorham, also marked Sterling & Other Metals, E79 N. Width measuring 6 inches (15 cm), weight 9.1 ozt (284 grams).

Purchasing information
    The tray displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Further spots and areas of discolouration. Minor dints. Gorham marks clear and legible. Rubbing with a little loss of definition to the detail on the pheasant and birds.
