Condition Report
A 1970's silver salver, of circular form with scalloped edge border and engraved central personal inscription, the whole raised upon four scroll feet. Hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1972. Width measures 10 inches (25.5 cm), weight 16 ozt (499 grams). 'Presented to Bernard Smith by his friends at Lombard House in recognition of 50 years distinguished practice of the Law October 1972.'

Purchasing information-
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The personal inscription reads - 'Presented to Bernard Smith by his friends at Lombard House in recognition of 50 years distinguished practice of the Law October 1972. Some minor circular contact marks to the top of the salver. Visible postcode and number to the underside of the salver from a UV pen. Heavier tarnishing to the along the underside of the scalloped border and feet. Hallmarks clear and legible.
